Hey! I’m Nicole, I own a home based spa in Reaboro. I do lash extensions, head massages, and reiki. I am also a Registered Nurse and am certified in basic, advanced, and diabetic foot care (medi-pedis) as we like to call them at the spa!

Not baby related AT ALL. Which is nice haha! But it’s about learning to love yourself which I have found super helpful postpartum!

Not childbirth... but we just attended a free breastfeeding class at the Peterborough Family Resource Centre and it was amazing!

We miscarried in August 2017 at 9 weeks (missed miscarriage, baby passed at 6 weeks 3 days). After another four rounds of fertility meds we are 16 weeks with our rainbow!!!

Update for anyone who’s wondering this in the future. We ended up getting an emergency c section because babe was in fetal distress when we got to our induction appt!

Sometimes Anderson just wanted to go in his playmat and watch the lights for a bit. He’d fall sleep on the floor like that for a few hours on desperste nights 🤷🏼♀️ Obviously doesn’t help develop healthy sleep habits, but it helps the adults catch up!

The Tula is great and size friendly. We have the standard mesh coast. Got us through a ten day trip in the UK comfortably without a stroller.

My babe is 3 months and we watch a video (or two) every morning. I feel like its less traumatizing for him to watch some black and white polka dots on the screen than it is for him to scream for half an hour while I get ready in the mornings! You gotta do what you gotta do!

My favourite nipple cream I brought with me was Substance—you can get it at Bellies and Babies in Peterborough. Also it doubles as a lip balm! I brought the starbucks via roast lattes for GOOD coffee in the morning. We brought our milestone blanket with us for those “one day old” pictures. Those were my favourites that I packed. I packed my DLSR camera and never touched it lol!

LOVE this one! The XL fits me (a little too big) and I’m a size 20! It’s so easy because there’s no actual wrapping, it’s just two loops!

We had a miscarriage August 2017. Our families and friends were very supportive. I have made a point of sharing our experience on social media platforms to raise awareness and open discussion! I have found feedback from this very rewarding. It’s amazing how many of your friends and aquaintances have also had miscarriages but never talked about it. My doctor is also supportive and wanted us to start trying again ASAP...4 cycles later and we conceived our rainbow!

I love Old Navy scoop neck t-shirts (online only now 😔) My favourite is Motherhood Maternity in Pickering!!! Their skinny jeans are the best and, being plus size, they actually have maternity clothes that fit me

I love using google docs because I can create and share with family members and can customize the doc format to my suiting!! I find specific apps are more difficult to customize. With my own business, I wanted something that was diverse enough for my needs and user friendly
