From the day I found out I was going to be responsible for a child with special needs, I thought I would be able to educate myself ahead to empower my daughter to be the best she can be or wants to achieve. I find my intellectual ingnorance, lack of finances, and religious boundaries bring feelings of being overwhelmed and at times limit both our abilities. I still look at her and see possibilities, opportunities bigger than the both of us can imagine, and a beautiful (flourishing in worship) relationship with the One True God. This life is……not easy like all else…..BUT….worth it to have her in it. *Your personal experience(s) with raising a child with special needs is welcomed. I’ll be posting additional experiences in which I hope to promote a safe place to encourage and uplift you, and not condemn knowing our experiences are different bringing different needs as well as different solutions.

I’m not exactly shy. I usually like being a homebody; however, I have been so secluded with just my littles that when I do open my mouth I spill, spew, spit, and stuff my emotions until I explode. I have few friendships that I miss investing into because of many factors. Maybe this platform can be a way I explore these reasons to find realistic solutions. *You’re welcome to join me with input or advice. Know that I am a great listener and prayer. I know The One who knows all things, Christ-Jesus, which gives me HOPE. I will be looking through the Bible to find my solutions.
