I have experienced a neonatal loss, a pregnancy after loss, a c-section, 3 v-bac's, natural births, epidurals, induction, and more. I have children ranging from teenager to infant.

Rainbow

Lost my daughter July 10 2016, premature rupture of membranes, came at 21w. Blessed with this little man 2 months early, he is always my rainbow, now matter the days I have.

Peterhorough Family Resources Centre

The Early Years Centre on Antrim street Peterborough ON I have found helpful, they run a clinic on Thursdays, and have a breastfeeding support group called Babies First on Fridays.

P.S.W.

I am a PSW, inwork in 2 long term care homes. I enjoy my work. Due to circumstances I had to return to 1 of my jobs when my son was 6m old. He is now 8m old. I work nights, i generally very tired. As he gets older, and going through a lead right now, I am fiding sleep hard to come by. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA - cant afford a babysitter to stay extra - daddy works 12h-16h days, so i dont ask him for much

Searching

For a stiffer wrap, to carry heavier babies. My son is over 22lb, and i own a Boba, but it loosens fairly quickly now, and i have it super snug when i start out. I prefer the wraps. Anyone know where to find them?

Sadly I have...

Firstly let me start by saying, i am truly sorry for your loss. I have had a few miscarriages, and 1 neonatal loss. Its an emotional rollercoaster, and there is no controlling the ups and downs. Grief shows in alot of different ways, many different levels. Grief will always be with you, and its something that many people just learn.to adapt to a new life. I have personally found P.A.I.L. to be a very supportive network.

Everyone is different

You're doing great! Honestly my son is 8m and he gets some screen time so i can enjoy my morning tea as well, mind you he likes Mickey Mouse, banging his toys in the high chair, kicking his feet, cooing or screaming at the screen (after he has had his breakfast). I dont think its horrible for short periods of time to enjoy a beverage baby free or to get dishes done. I personally wouldnt do it for long periods of time.
